About the Role
To mange / supervise activities relating to the construction of improvement schemes to the clients requirements.

To record and report the contractors activities and resources
To ensure compliance with up-to-date specifications
Monitor methods of working
Comply with Health and Safety regulations
To ensure As-builts are carried out on site on the drawings provided.
To liaise with contractor and measure activities on site

About You
You should have a Degree or formal qualification in relevant technical discipline.
Professionally and academically qualified and ideally you should possess CEng, MICE, MIHT or MIStructE or degree / HNC / HND level with significant experience.

A good knowledge of:

Highways design standards.
Specifications and contract conditions
Knowledge of all aspects of motorway / trunk road construction
Working experience of Health and Safety and CDM regulations

Able to exercise judgement in independent evaluation, selection and interpretation of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Able to develop client relationships

Working experience of Quality Assurance standards

Extensive experience of Civil Engineering site supervision of Highways maintenance projects.

Excellent communications and report writing skills.

Team-working
Open and honest
Commercial Acumen

Special Requirements:

You will provide your own vehicle with double bar beacon.
