Highways Project Engineer! Due to increasing workload, our client, a local government body responsible for most aspects of the transport system throughout GREAT LONDON in England is looking for a Highways Project Engineer! Their role is to implement the transport strategy and to manage transport services across LONDON!

This is a great opportunity to expand your existing highways knowledge and join a prestigious London Highways company.

You will have experience in highways maintenance and management across a diverse range of highway, traffic and civil projects.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and deliver projects from inception through to completion
• Assist in monitoring and reviewing the effects of works programmes for the Transport for London Road Network.
• Assist in managing and evaluating a programme of studies, reviews and reports to assess the condition and identification of problems to ascertain the need for maintenance and improvements to keep the roads in a safe and serviceable condition Carrying our feasibility studies and cost estimates
• Preliminary and detailed design
• Implementation and site supervision of contractors and measurements and final accounts
• Deliver renewal and improvement schemes within the role specific area, on time and to budget, using DRNM Highways Maintenance Works contracts framework and/or ad hoc contracts as appropriate.
