My client an international multi-disciplinary consultancy require a mechanical design engineer to join their busy building services department on an ongoing contract at competitive rates.

Duties will include managing, designing and supervising the diverse range of projects taken on by the engineering department; being in regular contact with clients, and providing guidance for younger team members to ensure the successful development of projects.
Candidates must therefore have previous experience working for consultancies, with an emphasis on successful project and team management. Excellent commercial awareness and familiarity with financial management are also essential skills.

Ideally candidates should have a degree in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering or an HND/HNC for those candidates who have a greater level of appropriate experience.
