Job Description

We are currently recruiting Foreman and General Foreman for Olympic and Major Rail / Civil Projects in East London.

Minimum Qualifications
- IOSH Managing Safely or CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme.
- CSCS card
- Full Driving licence.

Preferred Qualifications
- Recognised trade training backed up by progressive career development
- First Aid certificate

Experience
- Experienced in a foreman or section foreman role
- Experience on structures /roads
- Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation
- Non-confrontational manner
- IT skills

Key Duties
- Compliance with Specific Risk Assessment and Method Statements for construction activities
- Management of operational activities
- Accurately record all work carried out on site
- Attend team briefs
- Organise sub-contractors for the work
- Wear all PPE as required by company procedure without compromise
- Report any defects directly to Works Manager
- Report any Hazards / Near Misses / Accidents / Incidents / Utility Damages directly to Works Manager
- Ensure that all plant and equipment is suitable for purpose
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping
- Monitor performance standards
- Effectively liaise and manage operational interfaces
- Checking labour and plant returns
- Organising the logistics of the site
- Fully understand clients clean working procedures and ensure compliance
- To carry out any other duties appropriate for this post
- Ensure that all health, safety, environmental and quality procedures are maintained
- Management of the operational activities of the supply chain.
- Ensure that the necessary resources are available to deliver the required performance.
