An opportunity for a Senior Project Site Engineer has arisen within a large UK main contractor group who will play a large part in the Olympic construction leading up to the 2012 games.

Company
This multi million £ part of the Olympic project run by a prestigious blue chip company is looking for an experienced Project Site Engineer. The company provides a range of Civil Engineering construction services throughout the UK, with this position being part of a large team constructing part of the Olympics 2012.

Main Duties
As a Senior Project Engineer you will be working very closely with the Section Agent to provide technical information for the construction of associated roads, and rail/road bridge structures. Duties will includes management of specialist sub-contracts, control and monitoring of safety in line with the method statements and risk assessments and company standards and assisting with the compliance including Quality Systems.

Requirements
The successful candidate will bring to the role;
• Previous demonstrated experience in delivering technical information through on site setting out and supervision of construction activities
• A willingness and competency in order to step up into hands on site based role.
• Proven excellent communication and people skills
• A solutions-orientated attitude with a desire to progress within the Construction Industry.
