This modest practice in Hammersmith is looking for an architectural assistant to join their practice to work on an exciting range of projects.

The practice portfolio includes commercial offices, residential projects and hospitality buildings, as well as a full range of UK based and international airports which you will be focusing you time on. Projects include architecture, masterplanning and interior design, and the airports team work very closely with engineers to co-ordinate complex structures and intricate designs.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop their technical skills on unusual structures, whilst maintaining contact with more traditional architecture in the form of residential and commercial design. Being a small team, you will play an important part in the way the company moves forward and will hold responsibility over sections of the projects.

Applicants must be fully conversant in AutoCAD and any prior experience working on transport projects, although not essential, is advantageous. This would really suit someone with an interest in construction and the use of unusual materials. The role is site based in Heathrow Airport, and is for an initial period of 6 months, with long-term prospects.
