Principle Contaminated Land Consultant
With offices in each of the seven continents, we are certainly an innovator in our field. As an award winning multidisciplinary consultancy we work on a range of complex and exciting projects both in the UK and internationally.
The environmental sector in particular is one of our main focuses, and the standard of our endeavours is reflected in the number industry accomplishments. Among these coveted achievements are ‘Outstanding contribution to the waste management industry in Scotland and ‘Considerate Contractors Site Award' was given to them for their landslide prevention work in Hong Kong. Their approach has earned them ISO14001: 2004 certification for our environmental management system and covers all our activities and all our UK office locations. They have also achieved registration under the European Union's Eco Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), which formally recognises our environmental commitments and accountability.
They are seeking the latest addition to this outstanding team, and are looking for a Principle Contaminated Land Consultant.
To be successful you will have significant project and management experience in private development work, preferably with a consultancy background. You will also be able to work independently and demonstrate a good project management track record on ground investigation and remediation projects. In addition you will have excellent technical reporting, interpersonal and team management skills. Experience in dealing with contractors, regulatory authorities and other consultants, as well as management of site based engineers and consultant staff on large scale regeneration projects is a prerequisite.
Technical experience in human health and groundwater DQRA assessment and the preparation of ground remediation strategies/techniques and verification, as well as experience in Phase 1 to 3 site investigations and a through knowledge of waste regulation/licensing are also basic requirements of the role.
The key qualifications for this role are a first degree in chemistry, hydrogeology, geology or environmental engineering.
