Job Description

We are seeking Structural Design Engineers for permanent posts in Dubai. The successful candidates will be working on commercial or residential projects. These include, one of the worlds largest shopping complex, a sporting stadium and residential high rise buildings.

Qualifications for these positions include a Bachelors Degree in Engineering plus a minimum of four years relevant work experience. Alternatively a degree in Engineering that meets the academic requirements for a Chartered Engineer plus four years relevant work experience.

This post requires a candidate who must have:

* Graduate membership of a relevant institution
* IT skills
* Good communication skills, experience in dealing with other employees and external clients
* Ability to communicate technical subjects
*Confident, proactive character, ability to take the lead in challenging situations
* Experience of working on a one to one basis and in team working situations.

Some of the Key Responsibilities will include:
* Undertake detailed engineering design
* Prepare technical schedules
* Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work
* Work closely with and monitor performance of Technician (as appropriate).
