My client are a progressive design led consultancy which over, recent years, has been recognised as one of the most successful cutting edge practises in its field, collaborating with architects, developers and contractors both in the UK and internationally. They are looking for CAD Technician in line with plans to strengthen the office capability, the skills you should have to apply for this role are:

·Production of general arrangement drawings in all building materials but generally steelwork and concrete.
·Further experience in highways and drainage layout plans, sections and details, including itopographic survey manipulation would be advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of microstation or willingness to be trained on this package.
·Experience in the use of Local Area Network systems.

Qualifications are preferred but not essential, HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.

Personal Qualities:

·Should be able to work within a team, on a various projects at any time, whilst meeting standards of quality and timeliness, under pressure from time to time.
·Ideally, the applicant should have significant experience producing detailed design proposals for structures, civils, highway works, and drainage to adoptable standards and earthworks.
