Job Description
Position Summary
To prepare civil and structural engineering drawings and details using AutoCAD.
Main Duties
To prepare civil and structural engineering drawings
Brief and supervise Junior Technicians
Check drawings prepared by others
To print drawings for in-house checking and external issue
To manage junior staff and assist in their training
To assist other staff in managing the design team
To liaise and communicate with external professionals
To occasionally attend site to inspect various stages of construction works
To occasionally carry out simple tape and level topographic surveys
To comply with the requirements of the company Quality Assurance system and other policy documents
To maintain their own professional development
Technical Skills
Good knowledge of Auto CAD
Good knowledge of Building Structures
Able to carry out simple tape and level topographic surveys
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
