Our client is recognised as one of the world’s leading consulting firms, based in more than 300 offices around the globe. In Europe they operate over 30 offices with 1.5K employees. Last year the company reported revenue of billions of dollars and had an operating profit of over $200 million.
They are currently working on a large development which consists of the redevelopment of a site in East London, to provide a mix of community, commercial, hotel and residential, plus car parking, amenity space and landscaped river walk. There are to be six new buildings of between 6 and 40 storeys, together with the restoration and refurbishment of an existing 5-storey building. The design phase is expected to last up to 18 months.
The role requires a thorough knowledge and understanding of the principles of structural engineering design and the ability to undertake the detailed design of all forms of building structure.
