Job Description

Playing a critical part in a £230m development at Felixstowe - the largest container port in the country - your skills will ideally have been tested on £10m+ value projects in the marine industry. Necessary expertise will centre on concreting and marine works piling, which you will have gained since achieving Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent experience).

Key Responsibilities

 Responsible for production of budget and monitoring of costs
 Ensure Inspection and Test Plan or equivalent exists before sub-contractor starts work and that the relevant checks are carried out
 Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and monitor and control SHE performance on site
 Familiarity with project critical work path
 Ensure compliance with specification and design
 Ensure that records are kept for work performed, problems experienced, average labour force in each area, communications to/from client, sub-contractor and third parties
 Familiarity with and operation of the Project Environmental Plan
 Familiarity with programmes; ability to monitor and action progress
 Liaison with designers and project team
