Job Description

Playing a critical part in a £230m development at Felixstowe - the largest container port in the country – you will ideally have experience in working on £10m value projects. You will also have handled both new-build and refurbishment (including associated M&E work) since achieving Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent experience).

Key Responsibilities

 Responsible for production of budget and monitoring of costs
 Ensure Inspection and Test Plan or equivalent exists before sub-contractor starts work and that the relevant checks are carried out
 Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and monitor and control SHE performance on site
 Familiarity with project critical work path
 Ensure compliance with specification and design
 Ensure that records are kept for work performed, problems experienced, average labour force in each area, communications to/from client, sub-contractor and third parties
 Familiarity with and operation of the Project Environmental Plan
 Familiarity with programmes; ability to monitor and action progress
 Liaison with designers and project team
