This is a great opportunity for an experienced senior transport planner to join a truly international company. With an ever-increasing portfolio of work in both the public and private sectors, they are looking to appoint a Senior Transport Planner to join their transport planning south division in London.

You will be a transport planner with strong technical expertise, undertaking various transport modelling projects, scheme appraisals and evaluation of public transport proposals, with the potential to advance to Principal engineer level and beyond. You will be accountable for transport model development & supervision of less experienced staff on specific tasks.

Ideally you'll be a Chartered or Incorporated member of a relevant professional body such as the ICE, IHT or CILT. You will have post-graduate experience within a transport planning consultancy or local highway authority (dealing with transport planning matters) and experience of undertaking public sector commissions; be technically competent on various transport issues with a sound understanding of modelling packages such as SATURN, CUBE Voyager and microsimulation packages; experienced with traffic survey planning and resulting data analysis; have a sound working knowledge of DMRB and WebTAG and have experience of traffic forecasting using TEMPRO.

It would also be useful if you have a full driving licence.
