Job Description

You will be joining a specialist team of Traffic Engineers within the London office that provides traffic signal design and related services to a range of clients including Local Authorities and the Highways Agency. Seeking to expand the Traffic team to serve a growing workload and facilitate further expansion while further enhancing our reputation for quality.

You will be required to:
·Join part of the traffic design teams as a CAD Technician specialising in both:
1.Feasibility studies and the development of a variety of proposals associated with safety or sustainable traffic and transport schemes. These schemes will include significant levels of interaction with the public and special interest groups.
2.Design teams responsible for taking feasibility designs through initial and detailed design and on to completion.

Main responsibilities will be:
·Undertake self-managed work as part of a small and flexible team in the development and delivery of transport improvement schemes
·Undertake design activities in accordance with national and local design standards
·Undertake computer-assisted design (CAD) and data analysis activities

Ideally you will have:
·In depth knowledge and experience of design and analysis of traffic signal junctions and networks.
·Substantial experience of Auto CAD and KeySignals.
·Able to work to tight deadlines and manage workload.
·A relevant degree or professional qualification is desirable.
