Setting Out Engineers x 2. New project involving considerable amounts of RC frame with associated areas of external hard landscaping. Good working knowledge of traditional ground-works, drainage and ground-beams, where some of the beams will be rebated for pre-cast bison or similar slabs and RC in situ work is required. Practical experience of conventional RC frame structures with shuttering for all upstands and vertical elements, decking on tables.

Candidates with a broad engineering background capable of organising the Engineering elements of this site through the various phases are required. Previous experience with one of the recognised RC frame contractors would be preferred. This is a role that would be suitable for a Site and Setting out Engineers seeking to take on a more Senior Engineer’s role, as the project develops, moving into management as Package and Project Engineers thus advancing their careers.

The Contractor is the principal contractor on site and is recognised as a successful groundworks, RC frame and turnkey contractor working in the south of England.

A Civil Engineering qualification to Tertiary level plus good oral and written communication skills,IT literate, able to liaise with the various statutory bodies involved with this work and above all represent the contractor in a professional manner are attributes of the Engineers we are looking for.

This is a 6 month project and the contractor is seeking committed candidates for the role and to move on to other secured work. Ideally CSCS certified and with a current First Aid certificate, you need not be a car driver as this and other future sites are city sites. Excellent rewards for the right candidates.
