Our client is a small but very successful surveying and planning practice based in the City. The company are currently looking to take on both an experienced planner and a more junior individual to join the busy planning team.

Alongside a caseload of development control planning applications, complex major residential schemes and high density mixed use schemes, the company also specialises in a number of niche areas. In particular, this firm is the UK’s leading specialist providing planning advice in the areas of sustainable energy, utilities and aviation projects. For example, the experienced team have recently advised on the site acquisition and development of 3 controversial underground gas storage schemes for US and UK utilities companies in the UK.

The Partners are keen to take on individuals to work on interesting and controversial projects in this exciting and growing sector. Applicants must have a keen interest in the environmental sector and a desire to learn and gain experience within this field alongside a more generalist caseload of planning work. The roles will give the opportunity for involvement in large, high value projects with tight deadlines and will require travel to sites across the UK. The successful applicant will have an excellent academic background and be a very personable individual who will fit well within the close-knit, friendly team.
