Job Description
The client is a leading consultant. They have a requirement for an Electrical Project Engineer to join their Transmission and Distribution Section which delivers power systems projects to their client both in the UK and overseas.
Their clients consist of commercial developers, utilities and heavy industry and the section covers all aspects of the design of substations, the position will be mainly office based. The project work is varied and will cover working on stand alone and multi-disciplinary team assignments.
Duties will include undertaking assignments for the delivery of high voltage substations up to 400kV, also the design and condition assessment of existing substations. The main responsibility will be to interface with the client and take the lead of multi-disciplined teams, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications:
Degree/ HND in an electrical discipline or equivalent, with relevant experience in EHV substation design.
There will be travel associated the position and so you will need a full UK driving licence.
