This post requires substantial post-graduate technical experience within the transport engineering/planning sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for project coordination and client liaison on private and public sector transportation projects. As a key role the position will cover various responsibilities covering all aspects of planning and engineering from managing transport projects and briefs, preparing transport assessments and managing technical work. As a senior position the role provides the opportunity to lead, assist and motivate a team of graduates, engineers and technicians to obtain targets and meet deadlines.

Candidates should have experience in undertaking transport assessments and in urban regeneration work as well as knowledge of the developed planning process. It is essential that you have good written and oral communication skills, and be computer literate in standard transport models. These positions are particularly suitable for ambitious individuals who would be expected to progress rapidly within the sector as a default of drive, commitment and excellence.
