Traffic Engineers are currently needed in order to help develop and maintain productivity within the traffic and transportation sector of a local London Borough. Joining a previously established team this is an excellent opportunity to gain extensive UK experience or to build upon an already established career, working within a busy environment and being involved with a variety of projects.

Reporting to the Senior Engineer, this role will be based around the development and delivery of traffic and transportation schemes from the initial stages through to completion and include undertaking responsibilities such as feasibility studies, preliminary design activity, site assessments, public consultation and liaising with key stakeholders. Previous experience as a Civil Engineer within the Traffic and Transportation sector is beneficial as is experience of council street projects including CPZ’s, Bus Priority, Cycle Schemes and Safety Schemes.

The successful candidate will have working experience and be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and a general understanding of national and local codes and practices within the UK Traffic and Transportation sector.
