A Picturesque South-West England Local Authority is looking for a Development Control planner to join their team

Set in a sunny South-West popular holiday destination, renowned for its village markets, friendly atmosphere and of course it's famous surfing beaches.

The ideal candidate will be expected to handle varied case-loads of enquiries, applications and appeals. You will need to be capable of preparing reports, planning briefs and appeal statements when required. Consultation and liaison with relevant officers within and outside the Council and the provision of impartial advice to applicants and members of the public will also form important elements in your work.

Temporary roles are expected to last an initial 6 months - just right to catch the summer waves -with a salary in the region of £14- £18 per hour. Permanent salaries will be dependant on the role and experience of the applicant. All applicants must be educated to degree standard.
