ROLE:
You will be expected to oversee all department operations and provide excellent patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring and compassion are paramount. You will be developing, implementing and maintaing all the hospitals policies and procedures, developing and implementing training for staff development and student training. You will be required to interview hire and train new employees aswell as appraising performance; rewarding and discipline employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

REQUIREMENTS:
 You must hold a BSc (Hons) or equivalent in diagnostic Radiography
 Have completed a management course or had management experience within the radiography department
 You must hold your Irish Validation Certificate
 You must have post graduate experience
in diagnostic Radiography
 You must have the ability to problem solve and decision make.
 You must be a positive and strategic thinker
 You must be able to work along physician groups and demonstrate commitment to the hospital.
 You must hold sound knowledge in the following modalities: Ultrasound, MRI, CT.
 You must also have sound knowledge of Cardiac cath Labs and Nuclear Medicine.
 A post grad in any modality would be extremely desirable.
