Job Description

This central London based consultancy has a new job vacancy for an experienced Structural Technician. The client is world renowned for their award winning structures and is recognised for their investor in people approach towards all their staff.

You will be required to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of draughting building structures using AutoCAD. You will need to be well versed in all building materials including steel, concrete, timber, masonry and have the ability to produce GA's unsupervised.

Current projects include a new build bridge that will span 25m over the regents' canal and will be constructed out of mild steel and reinforced concrete; one end of the bridge will be raised on a cantilevered concrete platform to allow the tow path beneath to remain unobstructed.

The client is offering the successful candidate a 12 month contract to start with however due to the constant acquisition of further projects this could easily be extended. The client is also known for developing all their staff with further training and current training opportunities include Revit courses.
