Job Description

Our Client requires a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial Management team based in Horsham, West Sussex. The objective is to provide professional quantity surveying and related services as part of a small growing Commercial team of Quantity Surveyors on a wide range of projects being undertaken for a diverse range of clients, and to maintain a record of delivering the Clients needs and wishes within their budget and expectations. Candidate must be able to hit the ground running.

All candidates must have:-
BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
MRICS chartership (or equivalent)
Full driving license
IT literate
Cross planning skills
Good broad experience of Quantity Surveying
Experience in suitable construction/ property services industry environment - with previous exposure to undertaking key functions within a project or tasks over a range of projects.
Ability to work effectively in a multi-project environment
Ability to work at both a detailed and overview level
Good knowledge and understanding of procurement processes and contract administration procedures
Experience in housing and/ or office and/or healthcare and / or commercial and government projects desirable- both new build and refurbishment.
