Job Description

Our Client is a small, dynamic and growing consultancy based in Farringdon, London. They require an experienced, client-side, flood defence project manager for a number of schemes in the South East.

Our Client has a number of commissions with the Environment Agency managing projects ranging from local Flood Alleviation Schemes through to assisting on strategic projects of national importance.

Requirements:
Based in Central London, but with a requirement to be mobile and to work on occasion from the client offices in and around London, you should ideally be chartered and experienced in design, procurement and project management of flood defence schemes, a good team player but equally able to operate on your own initiative.

The successful candidate will most likely be an ex-EA Project Manager or a Project Manager working for one of the EA’s framework consultants who has managed EA projects. Our Client will also consider someone who has managed the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process for the EA.

Good communication skills are essential as you will be representing the company and their client, chairing meetings and interfacing competently with senior representatives from consultants, contractors and stakeholders.

Previous experience in flood alleviation, environmental engineering or similar areas is considered essential.

Salary and benefits are commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience.
