Job Description

The name Greenwich is known all over the world because of Greenwich Mean Time and for the World Heritage Site which encompasses the beautiful baroque buildings of the Old Royal Naval College, the Queens House, The Royal Observatory, and Greenwich Park.

Working closely with the Senior I OT you will perform appropriate neurological, cognitive and ADL assessments, and work closely with the community service for continuity of care. This post will also enable you to take the first steps towards specialism.

There are many parks, gardens, Greenwich Theatre, Blackheath Concert Hall, two art galleries, the libraries, two modern sports centres and a variety of good local schools. There are many excellent restaurants, wine bars and riverside pubs.

Local communications are good. Only 15-20 minutes by British Rail to Charing Cross. A foot tunnel leads under the Thames to the Isle of Dogs and the Docklands Light Railway.

The new City Airport is about three miles away via the Blackwall Tunnel and the Rochester Way Relief Road allows easy access to picturesque parts of Kent and the Channel Ports via the M2 and M20 motorways.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS; In order to practice as an allied health professional in the United Kingdom, you will need to obtain registration with the Health Professionals Council (HPC).
