This medium sized, city based architectural practice wish to appoint a Part II Assistant to join their retail team.

Over the past 15 years the practice has been expanding and now has a team of over 50 architects and designers. With an impressive client list their strength lies across all sectors including mixed use, commercial, retail and residential..

You will be taking on a job running role, where you will be responsible for working on projects from inception to completion on site. The role will involve day-to-day contact with Client organisations and the project team.

Some of your main duties will include writing specifications and contract documentation, drafting and amending concept, detailed and technical designs as well as production information by CAD and hand drafting.

The successful candidate will be a Part II Assistant with excellent drawing and presentation skills, a good understanding of building technologies and environmental design as well as knowledge of CAD systems. You should also possess a keen interest in retail fit-out work.

The right person depending on their progression and ambition will eventually head up their own projects.
