Project Manager – Civils & RC. Pentonville. The company is an established Irish owned, London based, contractor with a turnover exceeding £40m and growing within a controlled framework. With projects primarily in the Home Counties, within and around the M25 and the south-east, they have a current requirement for an experienced Project Manager to take on a new Civils & 12 storey RC frame project that they have won in the Pentonville area.

The scope of works includes all site enabling, preparation and remediation works, preparation of piling mats, piling, groundbeams, groundworks and drainage, then the RC basement, sub and superstructure to 12 floors. The project is a commercial one and substantial amounts of RC sub and super structure elements are included in the overall scheme.

Ideally we are looking for a Project Manager who has either come through the Engineering route and has progressed through senior and project level to full management or alternatively a Trades qualified Manager who has moved into management having pursued further education opportunities. You must be fully IT literate, well versed in current Health & Safety legislation, able to programme and direct one or more projects, whilst keeping a keen eye on the commercial aspects. The location of this project would suit applicants living within the M25. However candidates who are interested in this role but live in alternative locations are also invited to apply.

You will ideally have formal qualifications, at least 6 to 8 years relevant site experience, preferably working for a contractor, relevant CITB site management and CSCS certification and good references from previous employers. Salary will not be a limiting factor for the right person. Additional Foremen and Engineers will also be required for these schemes, so you may wish to bring team members with you.
