An excellent opportunity is immediately available for a Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a Community based Mental Health Multi-Disciplinary Team based in Co. Antrim.

The role is available on an ongoing basis and will involve:

- Assessment of new patients
- Contribution to Care Planning
- Implementation of the OT Model
- Delivering of resources to the Service User
- Promotion of Occupational Therapy
- Providing specialist advisory service in an OT capacity to the rest of the team
- Working with Adult clients with Severe Mental Illness, including Psycho-Social Difficulties, in a Community setting
- Working as a Sole Occupational Therapist as part of a MDT alongside Nurses, Qualified Social Workers, Support Workers, Psychiatrists and a Psychologist
- Learning and development opportunities

You will need:

- Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- HPC Registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Post-graduate Community Mental Health experience
- Access to own transport
