Job Description
An excellent opportunity for an up and coming Roading Site Engineer has arisen, working for one of the UK’s main contractors on a fast paced road surfacing project near Brighton.
Overseeing the road section of the project, duties will include:
§ Ensuring drawings are accurate
§ Liaising with clients representative on site
§ Helping to ensure projects are delivered within the timescales with quality and costs agreed with the client
§ Supervising construction projects including surfacing, traffic loops, road markings and drainage works
§ Assisting in keeping detailed and accurate nightly records including site measures, plant and labour returns and daily site diaries.
§ Attending daily handover meetings with the Site Agent
Requirements:
§ Experience in a similar role
§ Proven track record in major civils projects with a heavy emphasis on roading projects.
