Description: This is an exciting opportunity for a well-established, fully competent professional to join one of our key discipline groups. This position involves acting as the leading technical contributor in some of our more complex and critical client situations, and may also act as Team Leader. As a Team Leader, the jobholder may be leading a small team of people with responsibility for day-to-day supervision of staff, management of individual performance and scheduling of resources. As an established professional, the jobholder develops and maintains high credibility and influence inside Scott Wilson and within the clients' organisation and interfaces up to senior management level and possibly Board level. The role involves significant project responsibility with the jobholder leading projects with considerable impact, proactively managing change requests and identifying risks. The role also involves identifying opportunities to leverage our expertise in marketplace and delivering presentations as a technical expert to peer groups, senior management, clients and suppliers.

About You

An Engineering Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer with an MSc in Geology or a Civil Engineering background
Considerable post graduate experience in general Geotechnical design of infrastructure projects, mainly in a Rail environment or experience in working with structural engineers or Architects to develop feasible foundation solutions.
Experience of infrastructure projects including brown field sites, reclamation of quarries and mining projects
Expected to undertake some business development

Location: Greater London & South East
