AREA SURVEYOR
HAVANT (Ref: 08/016)
£27,482 - £33,456 per annum (PPU Scale) + company car
You will provide technical advice to Housing Management Teams; improve quality standards of responsive repairs contractor's for group stock with in a set geographical area. Responsibilities will require you to inspect properties, identify cause of building defects and recommend appropriate repairs. Identify future planned and estate improvement projects, compile a schedule for budget consideration to ensure the organisation can reduce responsive maintenance costs and meet legal and tenancy obligations.
You must have good communication skills, demonstrate a commitment to customer service and have excellent IT skills. A HNC/ONC (or equivalent) in a building-related subject or significant relevant experience are essential for the role. You will be provided with a company car based on travelling 8000 miles per annum.
