Job Description

Traffic Engineer required to assist the Stratford Parking demonstration Team by preparing scheme drawings using AutoCAD software and preparing programmes using Microsoft Project software. The successful candidate must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2005 (or a later version) and Microsoft Project.

Ability to use Key Lines, AutoTrack and AutoSign would also be advantageous. It would also be an advantage if the person has experience in conceiving and designing controlled parking zone schemes. The candidate may be required from time to time to assist with site survey work, but the role will primarily be office based.

Experience of working in a local government/consultancy office environment is essential.

The ability to work with minimal supervision and/or as part of a team and an ability to communicate effectively is essential. Ideally you should have a minimum 18-24 months of relevant experience.
