One of the UK's leading engineering consultancies, turning over approximately £400M, is looking for a Task Order Manager at it's office in Wembley.

The Task Order Manager in Wembley will work with Transport for London on a six-year commission to manage discrete projects covering a variety of special inspection, strengthening and improvement schemes. Our client is supporting the Mayor's Transport Strategy for London, ensuring that our Capital has the transport infrastructure it needs to retain its position as a world-class city. The post offers a challenging opportunity for a project manager with broad experience in the field of highway structures of various types. This position also offers an excellent opportunity to develop and progress within the company.

Responsibilities include project management, project engineering and delivery of task order schemes; Identification and briefing of project team resources at Wembley and other UK offices; Internal financial control of task order schemes; Progress and financial reporting to both the line manager and the Client; Assisting and/or deputising for the Commission Manager as necessary in relation to the task order schemes.

The successful candidate will be a qualified engineer, with a sound knowledge of highway structures technical standards and specialist structures maintenance techniques; A good knowledge of project and programme management; A good understanding of CDM and other key safety related legislation;

In return the company is offering a salary of around £35k (Up to £40k for an exceptional candidate), plus a pension and a range of other benefits.
