Global Nurse are now recruiting a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Breast Care.
The candidate will work as Clinical Nurse Specialist in Breast Care providing direction for staff on professional and legal responsibilities in advanced Oncology Nursing and Breast Care practice to ensure consistent, safe practice

- Follow current developments in medical and nursing practices in order to maintain and improve professional knowledge and competencies

- Provide clear and consistent leadership in issues relating to Breast Care, maintaining an efficient and enlightened nursing and health care team
Essential criteria for candidates are:
- RGN
- ENB 237, A11, 998
- Evidence of further study
- 5 years relevant post registration experience
- 3 years in Oncology
- Surgical experience
- Breast Care experience
- Experience in symptom management
- Counselling experience
- Management experience
- Evidence of teaching and presentation
- Manage the Nursing Breast Care Service and nursing staff
- Identify, assess and meet the educational needs of the patient and their family
- Along with team develop a teaching programme on issues relating to Breast Care and relevant subjects.
- Identify your and your team's training requirements in relation to Breast Care and other relevant subjects
- Ensure practice is evidence-based and monitor service delivery through the audit process
- Identify potential areas for research and initiate projects where appropriate
