Job Description
Description:
o Developing and maintaining a quality assurance system within all services provided by the Resource Centre/Homes. This will include the setting of objectives, targets, priorities and standards for all aspects of the Unit
o Developing, in conjunction with the Area Manager, an individual business plan
o Playing an active role in service management meetings and contributing to performance management plans for the service.
o Managing service related budgets and other resources and maintaining appropriate records
o Working with staff and residents in devising, monitoring and reviewing individual provider/service plans
o Evaluating the effectiveness of the care plans
o Liaising with Care Managers in ensuring that services meet identified needs
o Participating in and instigating formal reviews of individual needs
o Participating in the recruitment of staff
o Managing the staff team and identifying and meeting staff development and training needs
o Alerting the Area manager and HR Manager of the potential need to institute disciplinary procedures
o Ensuring all procedures are followed safely by staff e.g. medication, catering, moving and handling
o To ensure adherence to the Health and Safety Legislation and Policies
o Ensuring all building and furnishing requirement are processed promptly and monitored regularly to ensure completion
o Responding to Inspection Unit reports
