Job Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be involved with all aspects of projects from taking the brief, through to design and specification, site inspection and contract administration. The jobholder will be responsible for the whole process from initial meetings with clients through to final account and beyond. The position will offer a wide range of project types including schools, hospitals, accommodation, commercial and industrial mainly on sites in the North West of England.
To become part of this unique team you will hold an MEng Building Services degree or equivalent, leading to registration as CEng and membership of CIBSE. In addition, you will have a solid and proven background in design work on mechanical building services projects. You will also be able to take projects on from initial brief, have knowledge of related standards and design criteria, and be IT literate with experience of using HevaComp, Amtech and AutoCad. Knowledge of IES simulation package would also be advantageous.
