Job Description

Our client is one of the largest Construction company’s in the world who require a Quantity Surveyor for our high profile Olympic project.
They are looking for commercially minded individuals who are self motivated, flexible, and able to demonstrate sound commercial awareness.
The main duties for the post will include:
 Liaising closely with the Senior QS/Commercial Manager on all commercial issues
 Preparing subcontract documents for approval by Senior QS
 Checking subcontractor applications for payment and preparing/reviewing payment certificates
 Chasing payments certificates and outstanding payments
 Preparing fully substantiated interim and final accounts submissions
 Identifying and reviewing areas of commercial risk with the Senior QS
The Successful candidate will preferably have the following:
 BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
 Experience in a similar role in the construction industry
 Excellent IT skills
