Job Description

A leading multi disciplinary consultancy requires a Quantity Surveyor for their London based team in their Data Environment business unit which sits within the Corporate Accommodation sector. This sector works exclusively with corporate end users in all areas of commerce delivering strategic property portfolio advice, project management, cost consultancy and facilities management in the UK and throughout the world.
Their extensive and diverse range of clients provides them with a broad experience of projects. They have four specialist business units within the sector: New Build, Fit-Out, Data Environments, and Occupancy Services
They offer strategic advice to their clients on selecting the appropriate property, accompanied by feasibility and option studies. Drawing upon a wide range of experience to fulfill a key role in negotiations. Delivery covers the full range of building types, uses and sizes from campuses of 50,000m2 plus, through city headquarter developments to small support offices.
The business unit typically work with the major financial institutions, such as Norwich Union, JP Morgan Chase, Tele House, Pioneer Technologies, and will have projects UK wide.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
» MRICS
» Excellent core cost management skills
» Demonstrated on-the-job experience
» Excellent numerical skills
» Ability to clearly and articulately present cost plans to key clients
» Ability to develop and apply innovative cost control techniques
» Strong commercial acumen
Excellent remuneration package for the successful candidates. Final package will be commensurate with relevant skills and experience.
