Job Description

Duties will involve submitting planning and GPDO applications, taking into account legislation; government advice, structure and local plan supplementary planning guidance from local authorities, undertaking pre-application consultation with local planning relevant bodies as required, submission of planning appeals, provide advice on town planning matters to the acquisition team as requested, allocate work to town planners, ensure deadlines are meet within a timely manner, assist the Acquisition Manager with recruitment of staff and assist the planning manager with such town planning as required.

You will be MRTPI or MRICS (Planning and Development Division) qualified and have two years post qualification experience, preferably in a Development Control Department.

Good written and communication skills, computer literacy, a full driving license and a flexible approach to work is essential.

The successful applicant will be self motivated, able to work on own initiative and have good people / management skills.
