Job Description

A Town Planner is required to work for a rail company in central London.

The Town Planner will undertake the preparation and submission of planning applications for low complexity commercial & operational railway projects and where it is agreed with Major Projects & Investment that Commercial Property.

You will also prepare and submit required notifications on General Permitted Developments Order rights, Listed Buildings applications, Tree Preservation Orders and to maintain comprehensive records, planning appeals and represent the company at Committee meetings.

The Town Planner will be educated to degree level, have strong communication skills and be experienced in Town Planning issues including public enquiries and the rail industry.
