This Inn is a 17th Century Drover's Inn and country retreat situated in the picturesque village, which nestles among the hills. We are half and hour away from Oban (the gateway to the isles). With a large marina also in the village our clientele during the summer consists of a rich mixture of yachtsmen (and women), tourists and a vibrant local community.

Our hotel has six bedrooms, a traditional public bar, a more modern lounge bar and restaurant / function room seating up to 120 people.
We are currently seeking the following to work in our friendly hotel:

HOURLY RATE WILL BE ABOVE MINIMUM WAGE BUT IS DEPENDANT UPON AGE AND EXPERIENCE.

SOUS CHEF
We are dedicated to fresh, local food, it's preparation and presentation. We have a restaurant capable of 60 covers per night, and in addition a lounge and public bar. Between bar and restaurant food in the height of the season more than 100 covers is achievable.

Position reports to the Head Chef but this person will be fully responsible on his days off. Preference will be given to applicants with experience and showing a willingness to make a name for themselves.

Good communication skills, in spoken and written English, are essential. The position is available immediately on a permanent basis with a good salary for the right applicant.

COMMIS CHEF
Minimum 2 years experience to work alongside a head and second chef. We are looking for candidates who wish to demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard in a team showing a flair for presentation. Salary above minmum wage but dependant upon age and experience.

HOUSEKEEPER
Conscientious employee required who is thorough and pays attention to detail. Candidate will also be required to have some waiting / bar experience to make up hours when room occupancy fluctuates. Salary above minmum wage but dependant upon age and experience.
