An opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Nurse in Pain Management. Within this post you will be required to work closely within this team, working in both acute and chronic pain management. It is therefore essential that applicants can provide an understanding of current practice in acute or chronic pain, Relevant skills in acute pain management of patients receiving epidural analgesia would be desirable. Further evidence of other advanced pain management techniques such as TENS and acupuncture is also desirable though not essential.

Applicants should be able to provide evidence of the ability to work as a member of a MDT, evidence of the ability to work as an autonomous practitioner would be advantageous. Teaching skills, evidence of the application of audit are also a require component to this post.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Education: Batchelor Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred. Western trained and registered.
