Job Description

A locum dietitian is required to work in Birmingham for the Adult Weight Management Service.

You will be required to work with a the community that supports people living range of partners and stakeholders to establish new provision inin areas of greater health inequalities and communities where obesity risk to health is greater.

The service delivers a variety of programmes in different settings to support patient choice including 1 to 1 consultations for people on obesity medication or considering obesity surgery as well as group sessions to obese clients with co-morbidities. The post holder will be responsible for the ongoing evaluation and development of these programmes as well as developing new interventions.

Experience of working with obese individuals in a primary care setting, a Degree level qualification, registration as a dietitian with HPC and experience of obesity, ideally in a community setting and team management is required.
