My client is a forward thinking Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy with over 130 staff in the UK. They are currently celebrating their 60th year and enjoy the stability of a long and successful history with a modern outlook that embraces new technology and ideas. They are active in a number of sectors primarily retail, commercial, residential, education and industrial, and one of their offices specialises solely in structural glass and is renowned for being one of the top 4 offices that specialises in this area.
They are currently recruiting for a Junior Structural CAD Technician to join their team of experienced CAD Technicians. The candidate will be required to carry out general office duties and will be on hand to assist with General Arrangement Drawings and drawings being issued out. They would like a successful candidate to work full time, however time will be given for college experience.
The person:
·2 years experience that has an ONC or equivalent qualification.
·Some knowledge of using AutoCAD 2008 would be beneficial but not necessary.
