A large SEN school in North London is currently looking for Special Needs Assistant to work with a child with severe learning difficulties (SLD). This is a full time position until at least the end of the academic year.

You will be responsible for supporting a male pupil on a one-to-one basis. The child is currently displaying very challenging; oppositional behaviour and dislikes change so commitment to the role is a must.

The school is looking for someone who has an excellent understanding of SEN and SLD. You will ideally have worked in an SEN setting before and be knowledgeable of the UK curriculum. Effective communication skills, a patient personality matched with a high level of enthusiasm will make this role hugely rewarding and enjoyable.
