Are you passionate about architecture and working with people? We are currently looking for an Architectural Account Manager to join our Surrey-based client on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be architecturally trained and/or with previous visualisation experience with good industry knowledge. They should be commercially aware, with an understanding of the built environment life cycle and planning process, and able to network effectively and to identify new business opportunities. You will have experience in managing major accounts, customers and large contracts, particularly achieving sales development, ensuring that key stages are achieved and agreed both internally and externally.

We are looking for an individual with great verbal and written communication and presentation skills, both in person and on the telephone, as well as being a competent writer of business letters, quotations and proposals. Good interpersonal skills are important, as is being comfortable in dealing with senior decision makers, able to communicate and motivate verbally.

This role will involve achieving and understanding client briefs, conveying the client's brief and amends to the design team, setting client expectations with regard to studio capability. You should also be able to travel up to a few days a month within the UK.
