Job Description

My client requires a Senior Site Manager to manage a challenging site. The site consists of 59 units; these will be constructed around an existing structure. The existing structure is a grade 2 listed building and therefore my client requires an individual who has had previous experience in dealing with this type of site.
The successful candidate will need to have the ability to manage a large work-force, have an eye for detail and be able to effectively plan / organise ahead. Previous experience in managing the entire build process along with the Health & Safety aspect of a site is another requirement of this role. The role will also involve the controlling on contractor meetings, health & safety meetings, writing up traffic-management plans and conducting method & risk assessments

*Key Experience / Skills Required: A trade background would be desirable. The successful candidate must have experience in structural steel framework and working with listed buildings.

*Qualifications / Professional Memberships required: CSCS & First Aid would be preferred but not essential. CITB 5 day training is required
