Contracts Director – Civils. This successful Contractor is currently embarking on a structured growth plan. To achieve this growth there are a number of Senior positions that will need to be filled. The aim is to recruit outstanding people who have vision and drive to take the company forward, enabling them to diversify and develop from the very sound foundation that this company enjoys.

Company background. Founded over 40 years ago the Company has grown dramatically in both size and reputation. Involved in specialist demolition, deep foundation work and groundwork's with an annual turnover exceeding £75m the company has a wealth of in-house knowledge and skills.

The Role will involve breaking new ground and working with new clients as well as extending the service offered to current clients, initially emphasising the natural flow into RC construction from the demolition and groundworks sequencing of operations. Thereafter developing further sectors that have been identified by the board as being areas of potential long-term growth.

You will already be working at a Senior level and will be seeking to further develop your career by joining a company with a clear vision of their future. Currently with a Main Contractor or substantial sub contractor you will be seeking a commitment to development and growth both personal and of the company that will see a substantial increase in company turnover over the next 5 years.

Located in west London, close to major transport routes, the company’s offices will be your base as you develop the business.

Background. A Civil or Structural Engineering Degree would be ideal with a clear understanding of Construction Management. Substantial recent experience in the UK market, especially within London would be essential as will a good commercial grasp.

Support will be available from the Contractor’s own long-term staff, though you will be encouraged to develop your own team from professional contacts.
