Job Description

This London borough is looking for a Project Engineer or Traffic Engineer to manage and implement various cycle, bus and pedestrian improvement schemes across the Borough.

This is an involved and varied role that requires traffic engineering, civil engineering and project management skills to take schemes from feasibility and public consultation through to implementation. The role will cover the following aspects:

- Budget management
- Assisting on bus priority and accessibility works within the Borough
- Design, consultation and supervision of cycling schemes
- Liaison with developers on Section 106 issues
- Delivering and assisting with local walking schemes
